I was looking for a replacement for my Gibson J30 acoustic, and found this one in a pawn shop (of all places.) It is flawless, unscratched and like new as far as I can tell — and I’ve been around guitars for 30 years. This is $350 that I consider VERY well spent; I couldn’t have found anything else anywhere near that price to even begin to compare to this one. I am lucky to have found it.

The tone is very well balanced across the strings (Martin SP Studio bronze light guage) and the sustain is excellent. This is the ideal session guitar as far as I’m concerned. There’s no strap button at the neck area, and this guitar is gonna stay that way!

It’s a slightly heavy guitar, which I find very appealing in an acoustic instrument; this indicates quality wood and/or construction. The neck and fingerboard are excellent (meaning narrow/thin, which I like very much) and the tone of the guitar is really amazing. The Spruce top has just barely darkened, giving the guitar that sexy, aged look (which it probably is.)
