Has to be one of the nicest guitars I’ve played. I was surprised to see the list price so low. I’ve played some really great guitars and this one ranks as one of the best.

It is a cheaper listed guitar, so the construction doesn’t seem to be really sturdy. Time will tell. Still sounds great.

Construction
The construction is very solid, good neck. The finish is very pretty, but it scratches very easily. I’m not always careful but I’ve gotten a couple of big scratches. Besides that, a very nice instrument, can’t beat the value.

This guitar is only $199.00 and plays as easy as any Martin, Taylor, Gibson — you name it. I almost bought a Martin DM until I played the Hohner. Paying almost three times more for the Martin was not worth it.

Sound Quality
Tone was equal to the Martin DM, believe it or not! Great tone up and down the neck. It is bright because of the Maple body, but excellent bottom end. It has a “fast” neck so speed picking is easy. Finger picking is a breeze.

Construction
Bookmatched Spruce top, Maple sides, bookmatched Maple back, three piece Maple neck. Comes with extra saddle shims and truss rod tool. Tortise binding everywhere, except the headstock. This guitar is built as well as any guitar costing three times as much.
