Fender makes some very reliable guitars. This thing hardly every goes out of tune. It is very easy to play, it has like 22 frets but the top two are hard to use. I have used it over 20 times at concerts, it’s great!

I play rock and blues which this guitar is beyond perfect for. It has crazy good blues tones, very SRV and some Jimi. Sounds great with rock, and with the humbucker you can go crazy under distortion. There is one thing (that I hate) that come with all single coils: noise. They have tons of noise. This of course is inevitable with Fender. Over all this is great for mainly blues, good with rock, but that’s about it. The other guy said it was good for jazz, I have no idea what type of jazz he plays but this is no jazz guitar. It gets a 10 for being the best a single coil guitar can be.

Fender make sturdy guitars. This guitar is certainly something that you can play at concerts. It has a smart design, easy to adjust electronics and easy to change or fix pickups. Lone stars have bi-flex truss rods, which allows you to fix the neck whether too concave or too convex. When I got this guitar the action of the strings were way too high and the pickups were way off (as to volume). But I fixed that in 20 minutes. The Fender silver bullet strings that came with it were horribly dead and ugly sounding.

It works very well. It’s used best if you play jazz. If you’re looking for a good bright sound, this is your best bet. However, if you’re a total grungy, you might look at some other guitars before you get this one. It’s mainly a soloing guitar, but can still be used with no problems for a person who plays a wide variety of guitar styles.

The tone is excellent. It has a humbucker at the bridge and 2 single coils at the middle and neck positions. It’s very noiseless when there’s no distortion, but when there is, it makes itself known, even when you’re just standing around. At higher volume, it tends to produce its own feedback, but it still has the best sound I’ve ever heard.

It is very sturdy. It stands up to regular use and then some. The construction is done very well, there are no design flaws. What parts that aren’t made of wood are made of good ol’ American steel. I have never had any problems with this guitar, and I’ve had it for nearly 2 years.
