Performance
This is an excellent version of the Stratocaster. It has a maple neck, which is sculpted into a v shape, or into the shape of your hand. It took maybe a week of playing to get used to the feel of the neck, but after I got the hang of it, it became a great guitar to play leads with.

Sound Quality
The pickups are normal Fender single coil pickups, like most Strats. The tonal control is great, though. I can get from the thin sharp twangy sound on the bridge pickup, to a mellow, thick sound from the neck pick up. It’s a pleasure to hear from a good amp.

Well, I can’t give it a 5 here, since the nut was not cut well at the manufacturer, and the strings were a little high on the neck. But after playing the guitar constantly for 7 years I had the frets redone and the nut was cut a little deeper and now it plays like a dream.
