Performance
This Strat is the closest you will ever get to vintage tone without having a real vintage Strat. In some cases this guitar sounded better than some vintage Strats that I’ve played. It plays like a sweet dream. The locking tuners have given some me problems when changing strings, but you can’t beat that tone without forking out $4000.

Sound Quality
The tone can’t be matched on any new guitar out there. It can get really mellow or super bright and it screams like a wild banshee on the bridge pickup. The pickups are noiseless so they won’t hum like American Standards. Marshalls and Fender Twins sound great with it. This is partly because those are the amps I own. I’m sure it will sound great through a Boogie too.

Construction
The only problems I’ve had are with the locking tuners when I’m changing strings. Overall this guitar is a steal for the price I got. The frets are Medium-Jumbo, so it will sound good on thick strings also. The neck feels like butter when playing solos. The finish is beautiful. I have a transparent red finish that has got many compliments. It is red but you can also see the grains of the wood underneath which looks great. I had to get the guitar adjusted once because I was messing with the tuning but that was it.

Performance
This guitar was worth every single penny. It has a great sound and it stays in tune like no other guitar I have played. Fender has a new classic on their hands.

Sound Quality
The pick-ups are the new Fender stacked noiseless pick-ups which are made to emulate the sound of the vintage late 50’s strats. They are real nice, they are crystal clear when you want them to be but add a tube screamer and boy can this guitar rip some solos. In my opinion Fender and Gibson haven’t made a really great pick-up since the 50’s when they were hand wound and not machine wound, although these are probably some of the best machine wound pick-ups to hit the market in a long time.

Construction
Most people who know guitars know Fender Strats are built to last. This guitar is no exception. There are no defects that I have seen and everything seems be perfect.
