This guitar plays great. Very low action. The strings I got on it were horrible. I put some Dean Markley Blue Steel 10’s on there and it feels great. When you play, your fingers just flow over the fretboard, and my palm mutes sound great and tight. I have to say that this part was well worth the money.

This part was not worth the money. The stock pickups aren’t too great. They’re very muddy sounding and I can’t get any clarity when distorted which I had counted on from a guitar basically designed for metal. When I have the time and the money I’ll probably replace them with either some passive Carvin pickups or the active EMG’s. I’ll probably go with the Carvin’s just because I don’t feel like having holes carved into my beautiful guitar.

This part was also worth the money. Everything is completely solid and the finish is beautiful see thru blue with a flame maple top. I can’t get over how pretty it is. Once it’s in tune, it stays that way for a very long time... without locking tuners. Though I like the tune-o-matic bridge for palm muting, I miss having the floyd rose or any other kind of tremolo would do. But I still enjoy the tune o matic. My Schecter will do me for the Floyd Rose. Overall, I liked the guitar, but they need better stock pickups.
