Performance
This guitar is almost identical to the MH-300. The main difference is that the H-300 has a tune-o-matic instead of a Floyd in the bridge. I hate Floyds and I had trouble finding the H-300 as the MH-300 is more popular. It was shipped to me with 09’s on it and had an extremely smooth and fast feel. I play 10’s so I had to make only some minor adjustments. The body is very comfortable whether playing standing or sitting although it is lighter than I expected. The tuners are not locking tuners, but the guitar has been staying in tune just fine.

Sound Quality
The guitar is tonally mid-rangey hence the Mahogany neck and body. The neck gives the notes clarity. I tore out the pickups, although they were decent sounding, to install the active EMGs I bought separately. This guitar sounds great for heavy distortion scenarios and pretty good for clean parts.

Construction

The construction is solid and I love the way it looks! I have had no problems with the frets or bridge. I wish that the back of the neck was unfinished, but the finish is not overly glossy so playing is still pretty smooth. But this guitar looks great, plays great, and sounds great after taking some serious abuse.
