  6. The Epiphone Explorer plays very well. The weight of the body is evenly distributed due to body design. The Explorer is very easy to use and play because it isn’t as heavy as an Epiphone Les Paul Black Beauty 3. This guitar does more than it promises.

  9. The sound quality is awesome! This thing would rip your head clean off without hesitation. The pickups are touchy as with the tone controls. I use a Digitech Death Metal distortion pedal and this thing is just great. It is flawless.
