This is an awesome guitar. The guitar is very sharp and lives up to BC Rich’s “built to rock, shaped to shock!” The guitar has an awesome metallic red (I call it vampire kiss). This guitar has an awesome array of harmonics and has pretty decent sustain. The widow headstock has a back wards tilt about 15 degrees to give you the sustain you need. This platinum series guitar has by far the best bridge system I ever played on. The bridge is a trough the body tune-o-matic bridge. That feature gives it superb resonance and OK response.

The pickups could be much, much better. I’m going to put in some EMG HZ (pair) or 81 (bridge) 85 (neck) humbuckers or some DiMarzio Tonezone (bridge) and PAF (Neck.)

The guitar was constructed very well. One problem I got with this guitar is that it is one of the lightest guitar bodies ever. Making the neck heavier and causes the guitar to slide downward when it is strapped onto you and you are not holding the neck. To fix this I taped the strap to the top of the upper horn, minimizing the drop (when I’m not holding it). Lots of points off because of the weight balance! Other than that it is a work of art (put this in a guitar museum.)
