Sounds very nice, not as bright as a Taylor and not as deep and woody as a high-end Martin or Gibson and not as loud as any of them, but it comes in at 1/2 to 1/3 of the price. Sound is full, brighter than most Jumbos both because of the materials (laminated maple back and sides and solid Englemann spruce top) and the slightly smaller body size. The electronics work fine.

Clean and full. Lacks a big bottom end. Sound is very good for the price, better than my buddies’ similarly priced Martin DXM or Fender acoustic electrics. Plugged in works just fine, plenty of features in the preamp, does not come with an instrument mic included you’ve got to shell out extra and buy that separately ($59), I thought it was worth it.

Very well put together, absolutely no finish flaws. Binding on the fretboard and headstock. It’s a lovely guitar to look at, feels good in your hands, it’s a bit on the heavy side but that’s expected for a Jumbo and it’s not a bad thing. The action was just a hair off out of the box: a slight fret buzzing on the A string when strummed hard and the bridge seemed just a tad high, both easily fixed. Played well out of the box, with a couple adjustments plays awesome now.
